Inspired by the Shakers’ commitment to simplicity and purposeful design, each pencil is crafted from special finger-jointed slats. Two shorter pieces of wood are precisely joined, leaving the joints intentionally visible as a celebration of craftsmanship and restraint.
Finished with Blackwing’s signature eraser, the pencil is fitted with a firm lead ideal for marking, drafting, and creating crisp, controlled lines.
